U.S. Representative Marilyn Strickland of Washington State’s Tenth Congressional District will seek a third term.
“For the last four years, we’ve worked hard to lower costs for small businesses and working families, create good-paying jobs by investing in infrastructure, support our veterans and military families, increase the supply of housing, and stand up to extremists’ attempts to strip away access to reproductive health care. Democracy is on the ballot, which is why we must reclaim the House majority and keep Donald Trump out of the White House,” says Strickland.
Congresswoman Strickland serves on the House Armed Services Committee and the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure. She serves as a Chief Deputy Whip in the House Democratic Caucus, Whip of the Congressional Black Caucus, and chairs the New Democrat Coalition National Security Task Force.
For the 2024 election cycle, she is a Co-Chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s Frontline Program to help Democrats in highly competitive races maintain their seats.
Born in Seoul and raised in South Tacoma, Strickland is the first African American and Korean American woman elected to Congress from the Pacific Northwest. To learn more about Congresswoman Strickland’s record of leadership in Congress and her campaign for re-election, visit https://
